looking back
rocel was browsing to some
peyups forums when i came to office. then she asked me if i knew the site, then i freaked out
"onga! member ako nyan! w8 lang naku tagal ko na hndi nabalikan yan subukan nga natin username ko!"now i remember. i posted three of my poems (3 of my favorites back then) there before i felt lazy over it. abang ako ng abang hanggang sa tinamaad na ko. tagal naman kse ma-approve ung entries bago ma-post, i think less than a month din ung sakin.
and now after more than 2 years, i saw my profile again, but now with the list of my submitted poems. heartwarming actually. today, i'd try to visit it more often.
so, i'd like to re-post here the poems i've submitted to them. all poems i created back in 1999 and 2001.
PAGSASAMA (kay rafi)ang tagal ng oras.
nandito pa rin ako,
malamig ang kwarto
puno ng ingay,
bwiset na mga kaklase ko.
di na naman nakikinig
sa maestrong hagap ng
hagap ng hininga
makasalita lang sa tabi
ng blakbord.
ang tagal ng oras.
inip na 'kong bumaba
sobra sa kalam ang
sikmura na kanina pa
pinupuno ng hangin ng
babol gam.
idudura ko na.
ang tagal ng oras.
oras na lalabas na
ako dito sa kwarto,
lisanin na ang maestro,
bago ko pa matapakan
ang babol gam na dinura ko.
at bago pa uminit ang
ulo kong wala nang panahon.
panahon na maghintay sa
matagal na oras.
mamya magkikita na rin tayo
doon sa ibaba, malapit
sa gate, malayo
sa mundo, dito
magtutuos tayo.
maglalaban ang ating mga kamay
sa paghawak sa isa't-isa.
magtatalo ang ating mga utak
at puso kung sino ang mas
nagmamahal sa atin, ikaw sa
akin o ako sa iyo.
oras na.
ito na ang pinakahihintay ko,
nating dal'wa, hintayin mo 'ko
iiwan natin sila
dito sa kanilang mundo.
doon tayo sa mundo natin.

on what i can do

take a bath or on a trip,
i pray always to be with you.
and now we're in this room
doin' all we can do
takin' our time.

whatever we do, wherever we go,
or just be here

i really envy people who can write poems! i've tried several times to write but in vain... hu hu hu.. geeesh i can't even write a good essay!
people may or may not find my works good. it's really up to you to believe in urself and the rest will be a product of ur spirit.
